Kat Siurek (1991, Hildesheim) is a german-polish photographer, currently based in Oslo, Norway.
She is working with the subjective experience of sensual perceptions and explores the interplay between intimacy, texture, color, and emotion. She often manipulates her photographs and creates a multi-sensory experience by combining them with textiles and various other materials or bringing them into movement through film, hence disrupting the static form of a photograph and lending it a more fluid quality.
She is also the co-founder of “Kollektivet”, a community-focused space for art photography, hosting exhibitions and workshops in Oslo.
